Art Villalba has specialized in the creation of thematic sculptures and sceneries, being recognized, above all things, due to the “Thematic Park Tierra Santa". Said creation has been the initial step of a number of works based on the thematic reproduction of different facts. We have worked in the creation of thematic parks, setting of museums, replicas for collectors, and sceneries based on thematic creations of different periods of time, made by means of investigation.

 

Sceneries for tierra santa.

In 2000 we took part in the project "Tierra Santa". Thanks to the knowledge acquired throughout our experience, we have designed and sculpted a great part of the scenographic works of that park: angels, Roman soldiers, coaches and piece of furniture of Cesar. Tierra Santa has become the most important thematic park of Argentina. Thanks to the experience gained, our workshop – Studio can make works of art of said dimensions.   • Replica of the Ark of the Alliance, biblical piece of Jewish-Christian religión. The work was made in life-size and historical documents were used. In the upper part, the angels are in position of prayer, (see the wings of the angels touching one with the other.) In the lower part is the ark; according to Jewish religion, the Ten Commandments of Moises were in the ark (for this reason the ark of the alliance is so important and transcendental.) In the inferior base, it is possible to see the handles from which men picked the ark. The tour points of support are legs in the form of claws.

Museo maritimo of usuhaia scenery

In 1997, we made a museologic project for the Museo Marítimo of Ushuaia. Said museum is funtioning in the ancient prison of Tierra del Fuego, for which our Studio made, in that time, a number of scenographic sculptures representing the scenes and reproducing some distinguished characters of the prison. Life-size prisoners were reproduced. They are in the ancient prison of the museum of Ushuaia. The “Yamanas family” were also reproduced, ancient inhabitants of the area.
